Get ready for another fantastic summer at Southside Summer Camp! Ed and Karin Davis will be returning for another summer leading our unique camp experience. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that Elizabeth (Tiggy) Kaul will be in charge of the Little Room. Tiggy is a former Southside camper who has graduated from Spring Hill College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. All the old familiar games will be waiting for your kids, with some new twists added in so get ready for a summer experience available only to residents of Southside Place. We offer a PRE-SCHOOL (Small Room) camp for children ages 3 to 5 years, a BRIDGE camp for children ages 5-7 years and a BIG ROOM camp for children 6 years and up, as of June 1, 2011. This year's camp will run as follows:
First Session: Wednesday, June 8th through Wednesday, June 29th
Second Session: Wednesday, July 6th through Friday, July 29th

Registration Information
Registration will open April 8th. No child will be admitted into Camp without being (pre)registered. The options for registration are:
1. Register your child to attend by choosing dates, complete all requested information, update medical & emergency information, accept the liability and indemnification form, buy t-shirts, make payment and your child is ready for camp.
2. Pre-register your child by updating/completing the medical & emergency information and accepting the liability and indemnification form. Do not choose dates of attendance or pay. Drop your child at camp, sign them in and contact Suzanne Rose at suzannekrose1@gmail.com regarding the dates you wish your child to attend and payment.
No registration documents need to be turned in this year, everything is taken care of on the website. Completed registration is due by May 13th, please be observant of the deadline so that we may plan staffing and programming or a late fee of $15 per child will apply. Pre-School Camp (Small Room)
The pre-school camp for ages 3 to 5 offers lots of supervised fun, including art projects, story time, park visits and plenty of play time! All children attending must be fully potty trained. The camp runs daily, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Monday – Friday. Campers provide their own lunch.

Bridge Program
The bridge program is for children ages 5 to 7 who are ready to move on from the small room but are not quite ready for the big room. Children will be placed with an Assistant Camp Director and will be supervised as they move, as a group, through the big room, art room and other special activities. Bridge camp hours are 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Monday – Thursday and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday. Campers provide their own lunch. Attendance options are:

Big Room Camp
This program is designed for children ages 6 and up. Daily activities include a variety of fast-paced games and arts and crafts. Big Room campers can also use the park, pool, tennis courts, playground, basketball courts, and ball field as mutually agreed upon between parent, camper, and camp staff. Campers provide their own lunch, except on Fridays, when lunch is offered as an option for $3.00. The Big Room camp runs daily, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Specific counselors are assigned to tend to the younger campers to ensure that they receive the attention and comfort that they need.

Campers entering 7th grade and above pay a $15 registration fee only.
Refund Policy
There will be no refunds.
Guests
Southside Camp is for residents of Southside place only. If you have an out of town guest staying at your home they may attend camp up to two weeks. They will need to register and pay either by the week or daily. Guests that are 7th grade and above will be charged a daily drop-in rate of $30 per day. There are no other exceptions.
Daily Drop-In is available after (Pre)-Registration!
$30 per day - drop-in campers must submit all forms and pay the registration fee of $15. In addition, we will be offering our pre-paid daily rate cards again. Daily camp for 5 non-consecutive days is $125 (full-day).
Counselors
Counselors must be at least 15 years old as of June 1, 2011. If applicant is 15 and has not worked at Southside camp before, they will need to complete 1 shift per room (total of 4 rooms) for a total of 16 hours as a Counselor-In-Training. CIT hours are considered volunteer hours. Please submit all of the following in its entirety for consideration: Application, W4 and the I-9 to Julie Tsigos at 3720 Ingold by May 1st.
